Travel Manager
The Travel Manager shall have the following qualifications:
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in marine and corporate ticketing
Excellent command of the English language
Good computer knowledge
Leadership, organizational and communication skills
The Travel Manager is responsible for:
Being adequately conversant with the Company’s management system;
Having the overall overview of the travel group;
Controlling and monitoring closely the travel arrangements;
Ensuring that the travel group is providing the most competitive travel arrangements
including hotel reservations and ground transportation;
In cooperation with the Acting Group Director Crewing Commercial:
(i) Negotiate contracts or rates with travel service providers
(ii) Prepare reports and analysis on flight costs.
Ensuring that debit/credit notes and refunds of unused tickets are properly checked and
followed up in a timely manner;
Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures;
Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement and innovation;
The Travel Manager reports to and is accountable to the Top Management.
Senior Travel Coordinator
The Senior Travel Coordinator shall have the following qualifications:
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in marine ticketing;
A good command of the English language;
Good computer knowledge;
Organizational skills.
The Senior Travel Coordinator is responsible for:
In cooperation with the Crewing Commercial Manager ensuring competitive rates with
the airline companies;
Providing competitive and suitable travelling arrangements;
Arranging hotel reservations, car rentals, taxi transfers where necessary;
Following up invoices e.g. checking airfares, debit/credit notes and obtaining refunds of
unused tickets;
Making sure that cost centres for the Accounts Department are properly identified;
Implementing effectively the Company’s Management System;
Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures;
Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement.
The Senior Travel Coordinator reports to and is accountable to the Travel Manager.
Travel Coordinator
The Travel Coordinator shall have the following qualifications:
Minimum three (3) years experience in air ticketing either with an Airline or with a Travel
Agency;
Formal secretarial education or the equivalent training and working experience;
A good command of the English language;
Typing / computer knowledge;
Organizational skills.
The Travel Coordinator is responsible for:
Providing competitive and suitable travelling arrangements;
Arranging hotel reservations, car rentals, taxi transfers where necessary;
Following up invoices e.g. checking airfares, debit/credit notes and obtaining refunds of
unused tickets;
Identifying cost centres for the Accounts Department;
Being adequately conversant with the Company’s Management System;
