Job Description

We are looking for a Field Operations Specialist to join our Middle Office team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth cargo handling, shipment delivery, compliance with project SOPs, and overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

A. Delivery Monitoring and Cargo Handling

• Conducts route surveys as instructed by the Field Operations Manager.

• Performs project SOPs from receiving to transporting cargo to site.

• Attends to vessel discharging, barge operations, container stripping, and other cargo handling requirements.

B. Shipment Delivery Documentation and Reporting

• Communicates cargo delivery requirements to subcontractors.

• Prepares post-delivery/survey reports within KPI timelines.

• Prepares container load plans and required documentation.

• Submits documentation before and after execution in line with departmental standards.

C. Safety Requirements at Project Sites

• Acts as Safety Officer at ports and project sites.

• Submits and investigates safety incidents in compliance with QSHE policies.

D. Adherence to Department Procedures

• Prepares and liquidates cash advances as per policy.

• Ensures KPI deliverables are met and adjusted as needed.

Specific Activities:

• Cargo handling

• Project SOP adherence

• Safety implementation at all sites

• KPI compliance

Working Relations

• Internal: Coordination with Field Ops head office, Manila Ops, and Site Supervisor.

• External: Coordination with truckers, manpower, and subcontractors.

General Conditions

• Reports directly to the Field Operations Manager.

• Assigned to project sites as required.

• Provided with cellphone (calls, text, and data).

• Must comply with company QSHE standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Technical:

• Graduate of Computer Science, Engineering, or related course.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the logistics industry.

• AutoCAD knowledge a plus.

• Driving skills with a valid driver’s license preferred.

Behavioral:

• Self-motivated, aggressive, and trustworthy.

• Strong multitasking abilities.

Language:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
