Job Description

We are seeking a Field Operations Specialist to support logistics operations, cargo handling, and QHSE compliance in Cebu. The role involves supervising field activities, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring operational excellence in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

As Safety Practitioner

• Provide advice, information, and instruction on local QHSE issues.

• Report and investigate incidents, injuries, and hazards, implementing control measures as needed.

• Promote adherence to QHSE policy and recommend improvements.

• Inspect and conduct inventory of PPE, lashing materials, and other tools to ensure safe execution of operations.

As Cargo Representative

• Conduct route surveys according to company standards and client requirements.

• Prepare load plans for barge, trucks, and containers.

• Monitor deliveries, stripping, stuffing, and discharging activities.

• Escort heavy-lift deliveries and oversee cargo pick-up and transport.

• Monitor COC and SOC containers for timely return and pull-out, ensuring accurate container inventory records.

• Supervise Barge/LCT operations.

• Submit all reports (internal and external) accurately and on time.

• Prepare and submit FES based on established KPIs for billing purposes.

• Recommend cost reduction measures for field operations.

• Review and prepare technical drawings.

• Conduct toolbox meetings before any operation.

Specific Activities

• Prepare QHSE reports for submission to the Safety Officer.

• Prepare cargo and container monitoring reports.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders on-site and at ports.

• Attend internal and external meetings for project implementation.

• Ensure accuracy in barge activity, clearance, and stowage plans.

• Ensure timely FES preparation and submission.

Working Relations

Internal: Branch, Operations, and Field Ops teams
External: Clients, subcontractors

General Working Conditions

• Reports to: Sr. Field Operations Officer / Asst. Branch Manager / Branch Manager

• Supervision: Assigned tasks under management guidance

• Resources/Tools: Email, phone communication, and allocated budget

• Branch: Cebu

• Special Conditions: Occasional business trips required

Qualifications & Skills

Technical:

• Graduate of any 4-year course

• BOSH Certified

• AutoCAD experience is a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with industry-relevant software

• Valid Driver’s License (Restriction 1)

• Strong oral and written communication skills
