AutoCAD Specialist – Middle Office

Job Description

Activities

A. Interpretation of Technical Requirements

• Interpret project briefs and meet with clients, engineers, and architects to ensure lifting/transportation drawings are per specifications.

• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints using CAD software.

• Conduct site visits to gather technical data, assess feasibility, and determine design limitations.

• Update software, drawings, and documentation as required.

• Revise drafts based on feedback and maintain compliance with engineering principles and regulations.

• Communicate design issues with internal and external stakeholders.

B. Field Operations Cargo Handling

• Conduct route surveys and research as required.

• Act as Safety Officer at ports and project sites.

• Assist in stripping, cargo receiving, surveys, and heavy-lift operations when assigned.

C. Internal Control & Management Reporting

• Ensure timely submission of customer reports.

• Guarantee adherence to Field Operations KPIs.

Specific Activities:

• Creation and review of AutoCAD technical drawings

• Field operations cargo receiving/transport surveys

Working Relations

• Internal: Regular coordination with Field Ops, Ops MNL, PM, and Management.

• External: Coordination with truckers, subcontractors, and clients.

Skills / Career Stepping Stones / Performance Criteria

Technical:

• Associate degree in drafting or similar field

• Practical experience with CAD software

• Apprenticeship experience advantageous

• MS Office proficiency

• Strong communication skills and good moral character

• Attention to detail with ability to accept feedback

• Willingness to work overtime when required

Behavioural:

• Ability to handle multiple tasks
